*Attention BC Taekwondo Members*
Please find below the March 17th AGM, Government Programs report. The Government Programs report presented at the recent AGM may have contained some outdated information. My apologies for any confusion. To view the new updated Government Programs report, please see:
I would like to take this time to inform you all that I will be retiring from the BC Taekwondo director of government programs position this year. I will be leaving this position to focus on my studies in graduate school and as such, have decided to pass over the government program duties to someone else. This area of BC Taekwondo requires much time and dedication and with my new academic pursuit, the government program duties will be beyond what I can commit. It has been a pleasure serving as the director of government programs for BC Taekwondo Federation over the past year and a half and I hope that my work for the Federation was helpful and valuable. I also want to take this opportunity to thank all the athletes, parents, coaches, etc. who have supported and encouraged me in my role, as I strived to serve the Taekwondo community with implementing new initiatives and development. Thank you again for the opportunity. I wish BC Taekwondo Federation all the best and continued success in the coming years.
Sincerely, Yvonne Yong
